A windmill half the height of that which we see today was built
in the 17th century. From the exterior, a difference in the types
of stone can be observed ; inside the windmill, the original slate
stair case, the wooden stair case upstairs, and the varyins
thicknesses of the walls are all evidence of the windmill's
history.
1850 : Tower height doubled : 3 floors
1922 : Flour mill built : Today, these rooms
serve as living room and dining room.
1935 : Shop built : Today, these are the guest
bedrooms.
1972 : Windmill restored after 6 years of total
abandonment.
1990 : New sails replace those which fell in
1927.
